Tools of the trade. New Age/Landmark Inc. is seeking qualified chemists to join our mobile laboratory services team.

Company Information

The company is headquartered in South Haven, Michigan, which is located on the shores of Lake Michigan northeast of Chicago. New Age specializes in providing on-site analytical services on project sites located throughout the United States.

General Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  2. 0-2 years experience in an environmental laboratory preferred (mobile laboratory experience is a plus).
  3. Willingness to travel extensively.
  4. Good driving record.

Job Specific Requirements

  1. Knowledge of USEPA SW-846 and 600 Series Methods for organic and inorganic compounds.
  2. Experience using GC, GC/MS, GF/AA, and ICP instrumentation.
  3. High priority given to QA/QC.
  4. Mechanically adept.
  5. Good communication and problem solving skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  7. Performs well under limited supervision.

The successful candidate will travel 75% of the time to sites located anywhere in the United States. As the site project chemist, this individual will interact with our clients' field staff on a daily basis providing field analytical results as required. Project durations can last from one day to one year, depending on our clients' needs.

This facility has a full internal security system monitored 24/7/365 to insure the safety and integrity of our clients data. Also, when our mobile laboratories and corporate vehicles are not mobilized to a job site they are housed at the South Haven corporate facility.
